Tea Time

I'm still not eating treats, and the world is a better place for it. Treats and I don't get along: I love them; they hate me.

And so, I drink tea. This makes me feel like something special happens, which is all I'm really looking for when I have a treat.

On Saturday we watched "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" (which we LOVED), and I decided to amp up the specialness by cleaning out a decorative teapot and using a pretty cup. One of Sam's students gave him a set of these cups as a gift for writing a letter of recommendation (nice kid, no?). While I like them, I decided I need/want a really fancy teacup. Maybe I'll hit up the thrift store?

[i like this one because he looks like he's pontificating. i think he was telling the cats not to fight.]

Pretty Deja,

Send me your address and I'll send you a teacup set. I have one I've been meaning to put in my shop. I think you need it more. I mean come on, giving up treats and all.
Oh, we so loved Mr. Fox too. I love Wes Anderson's style. It's the little things, right?

hugs,
Kat

Did you find a lovely herbal tea to put in your little pot? I'm still searching for an apple kind I got years ago and can't find anymore. It was the perfect after dinner treat.

Did you do the sugar cookie tea -or is that only seasonal? Herb tea. That's a great idea. You know what's good as an herb tea? Jamaica. Remember mom and dad would mix it with apple juice? You can get it in the Mexican section in any grocery store pretty much, and it turns the water a brilliant red and has that sour citrusy taste that's so yummy. No apple juice needed.
